Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, to a family of Indian origin, Pratibha Dakoji's paintings and prints have a unique sense of immediacy. The transparent water colours speak of a world which is at once immediate. Her paintings show a world with recognizable forms alongside abstracted landscapes that look like doodles from nature.
