A vintage set of eight art-nouveau Majolica ceramic tiles depicting A PAIR OF PEACOCKS perched on pedestals, facing each other majestically with a column encircled with foliage in the middle. Manufactured in Japan by SAJI TILEWORKS of Nagoya Yamadachou. These type of wall tiles were extensively used to decorate the interior and exterior walls of houses. They can also be used to decorate furniture.
