Med Egron Lundgren I Indien – Ett Urval Av Konstnarens Advareller Och Teckningar, 1858 – 1859
[With Egron Lundgren in India – A selection of the artist’s watercolour paintings and drawings 1858-1859], Text [in Swedish] by Karl Asplund, Stockholm: Albert Bonniers Forlag 1931, No. 224 of a limited edition of 500 copies, pp 37 + 80 full-page plates, including some coloured tipped-in plates.
Lundgren was a Swedish artist who visited India during the Mutiny and this is an album of his work in north India. Lundgren’s engravings also appear in the Indian diary [published 1860] of London Times correspondent W H Russell, who had come to India to cover the Indian Mutiny.
