KRISHNA DISCUSSING THE BUILDING OF DWARKA WITH VISHVAKARMA, mid - 18th century, a beautiful painting with continuous narration, Krishna is seen discussing the plan of Dwarka with the architect Vishvakarma in the chamber on the right hand side of the composition and later, is supervising the work and discussing it with Vishvakarma on the ground level. This is a painting with great architectural detail, showing different levels of work involved in the architectural project of building Dwarka city. This painting is of a large size and would date to around 1740 AD, Kangra. It was part of a larger folio of similar paintings depicting the building process of Dwarka city.
