AN EXQUISITELY CARVED PAIR OF WOODEN PANELS central-India, Malwa region, early 18th century, elaborately carved out of single log of wood, these pair of door or wall panels are intricately carved with innumerable figures of warriors, dwarpals, elephants and horse warriors all interlinked and carved in a cut work relief, with bejeweled horses and armed warriors in a tapered form.
