This Tabriz carpet has the beige colour pattern decorated with grape leaves symbol of happiness, colorful roses and palmettos. In the center of the field is a sixteen point round medallion within which is depicted the season of spring and the love story of Omar Khayyam, who is asking for love from the young beautiful girl. The sky blue border is decorated with different birds and animals like the phoenix, lion and peacock. This border is set within two narrow flower decorated borders - one is cream in colour and decorated with cherry and jasmine and the other is brown in colour and decorated with grape leaves.
From a renowned Jewish collector (on the top central level of the carpet is an inscription woven by a Mrs. Fereshte Jan and in the lower central level is a woven inscription stating that this work was a dedication for the people who paid money to keep this piece of art)
