A Persian Long Kilim, early to mid 20th C. A dazzler long kilim, probably from the Veramin area of Persia. The central axis includes four large lozenges formed with multiple concentric serrated broken head diamonds. The four larger diamonds are flanked with eight smaller diamonds in similar dazzling colours. A very simple pair of jagged rows form the inner and outer minor borders, surrounding a slightly wider major border filled with colourful serrated squares to complement the field of serrated diamonds.
