A Persian Bidjar Long Rug, late 19th C. A Kurdish long rug, probably a tribal variant of a classic Persian Bijar, with a very colourful interpretation of the classic mina khani composition. A central column of full flowers, encased within two rows of half flowers along the sides, and smaller white flower vines interconnecting the full blooms of the central column. A beautiful white ground wide main border comprising floral bouquets, encased with an outer guard border filled with flowers in a rainbow of hues.
