A MAGNIFICENT AND IMPRESSIVE SILVER OPENWORK TROPHY, Glasgow, c. 1902, the raised oval shaped and pierced body, with highly intricate cut work in the form of a fruit tazza with winged angels flanked by fruit tazzas on either side with profuse bands of flowers and garlands, standing on four paw feet over a flat four sided base resting on scroll and foliate legs with the initials ‘B’ engraved in the centre of the base with two elaborately shaped handles with bands of acanthus leaves and a flower each on the edge of the handle. Stamped with maker’s mark of SBL and 925 with ‘f’.
