A Kurdish Rug, Northeastern Persia, early 20th C. A really spontaneous Kurdish rug, likely from the Quchan area of Northeastern Persia. The field has three polygonic star medallions in the central axis, surrounded by a plethora of animal life, including camels, goats and sheep. A very simple single border with stacked tuning forks.
