A Kurdish Kelleh Long Rug, probably Northwest Persia, late 19th C. A striking rug, the field consists of a set of vertical stripes filled with botehs and other geometricized icons. The major border appears to be placed as the outer guard border, nicely complementing a butterfly minor border and the striped field composition.
