A Kurd Quchan Memling Gul Rug, late 19th C to early 20th C. Twenty four memling guls stacked in eight rows of three guls each, creating a negative space of two poles as the vertical axis for the three rows of guls. Quartered squares form the two minor borders, surrounding the major border including stars, crosses and elongated H motifs.
