A Kazak Moghan Long Rug, Southeast Caucasus, late 19th C. A beautiful Caucasian rug, probably woven by a Kurdish weaver from the Moghan steppes. Three rows containing 27 Memling guls (named after the famous Flemish painter Hans Memling). Beautiful scrolling vine single border.
