A FINE HALLMARKED SILVER INKSTAND, Birmingham, c. 1938, with two square shaped ink wells with highly decorative lids in acanthus leaves shape, with a central pin box in similar pattern and pen holder shaped tray below the scalloped inscription cartouche, inscribed ‘The Rt Hon V. S. Srinivasa Sastri P. C, From E. M. Paruk, 22 – 9 – 1927”.
